Why you should work with My Culture Connect
I am currently working on bringing a cooperative venture between schools in Taiwan and De Soto High School. These Taiwanese students all learn English, beginning in elementary school, and I serve as a native English speaker and interact with them and their teachers using Skype. It is my hope to expand this to sister school relationships between rural schools there and ours in SW WI. It is absolutely amazing how one can communicate across cultures and around the world using Skype, YouTube, and FaceBook. We use Skype to talk face-to-face, YouTube to upload brief videos about our schools, culture, homes, etc., and FaceBook to keep in touch and to create and show videos as well. I have ...
